The evolution of information technology has added a number of new auction mediums to the traditional onsite "walk around the plant" auction which include theatre style, online real time Webcast bidding, and online auctions. Depending on the industry, asset variety and plant location, Platinum will implement the most effective advertising and auction mediums available to maximize sales proceeds.

Theatre Style: Either held onsite or offsite, a comfortable bidding environment is created for our customers. Tables and chairs are setup for buyer comfort, and the auction is conducted on a stage where auction lots are projected onto a large screen.

Online Bidding: All Platinum auction sales are Webcast. Webcast sales allow buyers to bid from their computer in real time.

Online Auctions: In situations where an onsite sale is not feasible, assets are auctioned online. Advertising for an online sale is similar to that of a live auction. Buyers are directed to our website where they can view and bid on the assets available for sale during a specified time period.

Orderly Liquidations

An orderly liquidation is conducted when there are limited purchasers for specific assets and for certain industries that are not suited for auction sales. Platinum will catalogue the assets, prepare marketing materials, set target selling prices on an itemized basis and negotiate sales with buyers.
